Know which account is under its margin while the month is open
The utilization number arrives after the month it describes. Insightful reads hours by client, project and task as the work happens, so the account is still steerable.

Show the hours and the access behind every account
Without Insightful
The bench gets sized once payroll has already paid for every hour on it.
The number on the invoice is the one somebody remembered afterwards.
Their security team asks what your engineers reach, and you make a promise.
Two delivery dates land inside one person's week and nobody sees it early.
The invoice gets built by hand because the system holds one flat rate.
With Insightful
Hours land against each account on the day they are worked, by team.
Activity lands against the client, the project and the task as it happens.
Scope is agreed per client before deployment, and the admin record exports.
Hours and after-hours work read against the accounts each engineer covers.
Each line carries the rate its own contract set, with an approver on edits.
See which hours never reached a client account
Utilization and productive time read by account and by delivery team, each measure against the period before. The hours that are not on a client show while an allocation can still move.
- Hours held against each client account, read on the day they are worked
- Bench and billable time separate without anyone filling in a timesheet

Bill each line at the rate its contract set
Hours are captured as work happens and held against the client, the project and the task. Rates are set per client and per service, so an invoice gets assembled rather than rebuilt.
- Anything added by hand routes to a named approver before it counts
- Every entry, edit and approval lands in a record no user can alter

Find the engineer absorbing two engagements
Hours, meeting load and after-hours work are read across the delivery floor and split by the accounts each engineer covers. A double allocation shows while the roster can still change.
- Compare hours and workload across the delivery team, side by side
- Read after-hours work as a trend through the engagement, by team

Answer the access review with a setting
A client hands an outsourcer its repositories and its cloud console. What your engineers reach is scoped per client before deployment, and the Audit Logs add-on holds the record their auditor asks for.
- Views scoped to one client's hours, governed by roles and permissions
- Unapproved tools on a client engagement, visible before they are a finding

What a client's security questionnaire asks
Narrow by design. Insightful holds the shape of the work and never its content, and deployment runs where the contract requires rather than where we would prefer.

Three answers to bring to the account review
Each question has its own page. Together they cover the hours behind a billed line, the engineer absorbing two accounts, and the document a client's security team signs.
Where did this client's hours go?
Hours against the client, project and task, with the rate its contract set on each line.
Who is carrying two accounts?
Hours, meeting load and after-hours work side by side, read by team rather than by name.
What will their security team sign?
The scope, the documents and the controls a security leader asks for before a rollout.
Every system the engagement runs through
Activity comes from the desktop application, so a homegrown labeling stack reports like a commercial one. You can talk to your work data with MCP connectors.

What IT outsourcing leaders ask us most
IT outsourcing software reports the hours, utilization and evidence behind outsourced technology delivery, account by account. Insightful is a work insights platform. It collects hours, application use and meeting load from desk-based teams and reports them by team, each measure against the period before. For a delivery firm that means utilization per account, the approver on any manual edit, and what your engineers reach inside a client's systems. Call quality sampling and handle time sit on the Call Center page.
Against your own target, which you set. Hours are captured from the desktop application as work happens and held against the client, the project and the task. Time on a client and time on the bench separate without anyone filling in a timesheet. Attribution has to be configured properly first, and an account nobody scoped in the tool will collect its hours in the wrong place.
Each client's view is scoped to that client's own hours. Collection scope is set per client team before deployment rather than after it, and deployment can run on-premise or through your own directory where a contract requires it. With the Audit Logs add-on, every admin change in the workspace is held in a record no user can alter, which is what a client's security questionnaire asks for.
Yes. It runs on the Insightful desktop application on Windows, macOS and Linux, deployed from your MDM or through Active Directory with no seat minimum. Engineers at home, in a delivery center or split across sites all report the same way, by team. Work setting shows as office or remote rather than as anyone's location. A field or facilities workforce without a primary computer is not covered, which is worth settling before an account is scoped.
Certified: SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Compliant: HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA, which are regulations rather than certifications. The wording is deliberate, because a client's reviewer will check it. Underneath that, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2 in transit, keys in Google Cloud KMS, and residency in the US, the EU or Saudi Arabia, or on-premise. Documentation is available under NDA.
