How to Activate Your Insightful Integrations

Get started today: It just takes a few clicks!

Head to Settings - Integrations Card - Org Chart and choose your HR provider.
‍

‍

After clicking on 'Configure Integration,' you’ll be prompted to authenticate yourself with your HR software. Once authenticated, the data syncing process will begin. 

‍

The sync should take just a few minutes. Next, you’ll be taken to a matching screen where you can review and match any unmatched employees.

‍

‍

When you have successfully completed your integration, you’ll receive a notification.

‍
Et voilà! 

‍

Your employees are now synced and distributed into the right teams with enriched data. From now on, there’ll be automatic syncs run to keep Insightful data up-to-date. You also have the option to manually initiate a re-sync.

Sync PTO and Time Off on autopilot

‍‍

Most tools similar to Insightful leave a major gap: you either manually enter time off or import CSV. Some even ask you to pay additionally for this feature.

‍

We closed this gap.

Turn on PTO Sync inside a supported integration's Configuration tab, and Insightful pulls approved time off directly from the HRIS.

‍

The sync covers the past 31 days and everything scheduled ahead, matched to the right employee and time zone, so employee availability in Insightful reflects reality without manual updates.

Categories keep the names the HRIS already uses, so nobody has to relearn what "Sick" or "PTO" means inside Insightful.

‍

Manual entries and CSV imports still work the same way they always have, for any time off the sync doesn't cover. And you can turn off sync at any point without losing what's already come in.
