Introducing Attendance Reports: Analyze How Many Employees Showed Up for Work and Their Activity Levels
Insightful’s new feature will help you analyze how many employees attended work, their activity levels, and confirm that your team members worked their full required time.
Up until now, Insightful has enabled you to see employee activity, and productive time. But it wasn’t possible to see if employees were absent or only clocked in for a brief period.
That’s about to change.
Our new attendance reports feature is a clear visual representation that gives you even more insights into your employees’ time.
The feature reveals whether employees were absent during any designated period of time, the number of active days they had, their activity levels while active, and if they worked less than their required time.
Accessing the New Attendance Report Feature
The new attendance report feature can be found on the Time and Attendance page, under the ‘Attendance’ tab.
Once there, you will see a list of all employees. Alongside each employee you will find a tally of their active days, as well as the active days per month for all employees.
Employees will be given one of the following statuses, depending on their attendance and activity:
- Attended above required threshold - They completed their allocated time (Activity levels will be represented by varying sized circles)
- Attended below required threshold - They clocked-in, but worked for a short period of time below requirements.
- Absent
- Currently working - They haven’t clocked out yet.
Sometimes, employees show up to work but only work for a brief period of time. In these instances, a shift or block of work can’t be counted in the same way as if they worked the whole day.
That’s why we have created the ‘Attendance Threshold’ view, where admins and managers can clearly see employees who have only partially completed their required hours.
Thresholds can be easily set by Admins at the company level, or more specifically at the individual level. Thresholds are set in minutes and cannot exceed 24hrs. If a user doesn’t set a threshold, zero minutes will be set by default.
Analyze Activity Even Further
By clicking on an employee’s activity circle, tooltips will open and users will be able to analyze exactly how much time an employee spent working, breaks taken, level of productivity for the day, and employee activity logs.
